We rebuild the missing carpet structure and re-install the face fibres to restore the integrity and look of your floor.
Specialist service for: "Dog-friendly" holiday lets and busy family homes.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Can you repair a carpet if I don't have any spare offcuts?
A: Yes! While a spare piece is ideal, we can often source donor material from hidden areas of the same carpet, such as inside a built-in wardrobe or from underneath a fixed radiator.
Q: Will the repair be visible?
A: Our techniques are designed to be "invisible." While the success depends on the age and wear of the carpet, most clients find it nearly impossible to spot the repair once we are finished.
Q: Can you repair carpet burns?
A: Yes, burn marks can usually be repaired using a patching method that blends into the surrounding carpet.
Q: Can you repair a doorway where my cat has been scratching?
A: Cat damage is probably the most common repair we carry out. Cats don't like closed doors and start to scratch and dig to get out.
Our record still stands at 18 repairs in the same house - beat that if you can !
Q: I dropped the iron and it's burnt the carpet. Can you repair this?
A: Iron burns along with hair straighteners and hair tongs are popular causes of carpet damage. Yes we can repair all of these.
Q: I don't have any spare carpet. Can you still carry out a repair?
A: We carry hundreds of offcuts. If we can't match your carpet, we can take a piece from under furniture or from a cupboard to use for the repair, we'll then patch in that section with a close match - you'll never know.
Q: Will the repair be noticeable?
A: We aim for a near-invisible finish. In most cases, it’s very difficult to spot the repair once complete.
Q: How quickly can you come out?
A: We offer fast turnaround times and can often book jobs within a few days.
Q: Do you only cover Middlesbrough?
A: No, we also cover all of Cleveland, Teesside, most areas of North Yorkshire, County Durham and northern areas of York.

Different Carpet Repairs Explained
Patch Repairs
PATCH REPAIRS:
A patch repair involves cutting out and removing the damaged area.
A new, matching piece of carpet is inserted to the damaged area.
Burns and pets are the most common causes of damage requiring a patch.
Patch repairs are glued from the back and to the existing carpet using a hot glue seaming tape, ensuring any movement in the carpet will not create a visible joint.
No spare carpet - no problem, we carry 1,000's of offcuts to match in.
We offer a lifetime guarantee on all residential carpet repairs.
Re-Threading
RE-THREADING usually occurs with loop pile carpets.
The thread is a continuous strip across the width of the carpet.
The most common cause of thread damage is cats clicking at the loops or vacuum damage - the vacuum can catch a loose thread and pull out a longer section - eventually snapping the thread.
We offer a lifetime guarantee on all residential carpet repairs.
Re-Tufting
RETUFTING:
We can repair or re-tuft carpet burns and pet damage up to half an inch (13mm) in diameter.
Anything larger would require a small patch.
Re-tufting involves removing the damaged tufts or fibres and cleaning the area and installing new tufts from your spare carpet.
If you don’t have any spare carpet or off-cuts, we can take enough tufts from the edge of the carpet where they are tucked behind the gripper rods.
We can then install the new tufts either by re-tufting or re-weaving as appropriate.
Using tufts or fibres from either an off-cut or from the edging of the room, we’re guaranteed an exact match and a quality repair.
We offer a lifetime guarantee on all residential carpet repairs.
Permanent Spills and Stains
PERMANENT SPILLS AND STAINS:
A very common repair involves spilled paint. Emulsion paint is possible to remove depending how long the spill has been left. Gloss and solvent based paints are permanent.
Bleach is also an issue, but not as much now due to most modern carpets made from man made materials and classed as bleach safe.
Wool and nylon carpets are mostly affected by bleach damage due to the fibres being dyed after the carpet manufacture process.
The best option for this type of repair is to patch repair.
This is done by cutting out the damaged carpet and inserting a matching piece.
Small bleach spots may recolour
